Layoff : 9000 jobs vanishing per day

Layoff As the world economy is getting rattled, on an average 9000 jobs worldwide has been lost during January 2009. Total layoffs crossed 2.7 lakhs this year with 80000 job cuts announced on January 26. The bankruptcy of American electronics retailer Circuit City is expected to affect 30,000 employees
